2. I find most interesting about this article is how in war of 1812, Pensacola was their base they used to fight and prepare everything.

A timeline of Spanish periods is 1779 the treaty for west and east Florida. Then the war of 1812 and 1814 aka the war of 1812, and Gulf of Mexico. In 1818 General Jackson invaded West Florida. In February 1821 a treaty caused wars to stop, causing the United States to have 5 million dollars of the Spanish debts.
