10. One argument presented in that Historic accounts are not always clear are when Jaun Ponce came back to Florida, historians don't know the exact spot he landed in. Another was, when the historian could only imagine the horror that the original Florida people had when they found the ultimate artifact.

1. The Fountain of Youth was a fountain that turned older people back into a younger form of themselves. This would be important to Juan Ponce because younger men would be more powerful than broken down older men. The fountain of Youth however was just made up by someone named Peter Martyr.

2. Microbial Invasion is a widespread disease that affected the Floridians and killed off many of them.

1. The thing I found most interesting about this article was how the original Floridians did not want to fight for land however once confronted they did fight to save themselves. 

1. The animal that was Introduced to Florida by de Soto was a pig.

5. Reasons why settlers wanted to settle in Florida was it was pretty with many trees. It was also very flat which would be great to build on. Reasons why it would not be good to settle on was it was dry. Also, it was very windy.

10. The timeline of first European contacts was as followed. It started 5 centuries ago after Christopher Columbus.  Slavers came in 1514-1516. 1517 Alaminos settled in San Carlos Bay. Hernardo de Soto arrived in 1539.
